I’m a pet photographer, and I am currently studying BA(Hons) Photography at university. I’m an animal lover and I mainly focus on taking photos of dogs. I’m extremely confident with all dogs and of course own dogs myself, which I do ringcraft and conformation showing with. I’m very familiar with dog behaviour and body language, which allows me to ensure that dogs feel comfortable during a shoot.
I am based in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, but also cover South Yorkshire and Derbyshire. Within Nottinghamshire I can suggest local scenic areas for the photoshoot to take place, the area may depend on the style of the shot requested by the client (action, candid, portrait etc). I can also travel to areas selected by the client, but would ask the client to be aware of how busy that area may be at the given day and time.
Alternatively, I am able to hire a secure field based just outside Mansfield, so that I can take shots in a controlled environment where the dog can be off lead and free from the distractions of other dogs and walkers.
I can also bring my setup and travel to your home to do indoor photographs, this is normally arranged in circumstances where the pet is very nervous or unwell.
Each dog is treated as an individual, therefore I will tailor the shoot to their requirements to suit their personality and aim to capture that on camera. I have experience with a large number of dog breeds and I am aware that some may need a different approach.
Unfortunately all outdoor shoots are weather dependant, so if it’s raining heavily on the day of the booking we will reschedule free of charge.
